'Stir'
For this weeks stir I yet again wanted to take a different approach to the word and decided to think of emotions being stirred. At first I was going to attempt this image by doing a monoprint image. However after drawing the image of the girl it didn't really look very clear so I decided to have a look at using Illustrator. I used the paintbrush and pen tool to draw all the image and changed the brushes texture to add effect to the hair and whirlpool. I then really wanted to make the text look as if it was getting sucked in by the whirlpool so played it on a path tool and tried to make the text bold enough to see.
To improve I was told to maybe add more colour-possibly to the face. It was said that the text isn't ledgible and to change that.
