My attempt

This tutorial was in Computer Arts magazine in issue 170. It was an typography and used Illustrator by making simple shapes and design tools. Personally I had never used Illustrator before and at first I thought it was fairly simple, however later on it became harder to use and the tutorial was set out well for beginner users of Illustrator. The whole picture was estimated to take only 30 minutes but the tiny bit I did took me a painful hour trying to learn the tools and find where they're located. If I was more educated to the software I do reckon it would of been a lot easier to complete.
